A1 Knights! The Best of the Best
Last night your A1 Knights laced up their kicks to dish out a butt kicking to the Dream Team of #CNB. Not like #CNB gave us very much competition, 97-89 was the final score, as shutting C.Miller down along with M.Wells, and A.Jamison. Throughout the game, it was all A1 until 4th quarter with 2:00 left on the clock. Our SF Corey Maggette fouled out our key of shutting C.Miller down. After Miller went 1/2 from the line A1 had to put the nail in the coffin to ed the game! A 3 by D.West forced a CNB timeout 93-87 all eyes on C.Miller to work his magic but ended up passing the ball to Jamison who only had 7 pts at the time. Yes Jamison connected for what looked like a 3, but after review the referees called it off with a 2 making it 89-93! I think it was a great decision to re-check the play, I mean #A1 that call could have made us or broke us, but I'm still confused on why C.Miller didn't shoot the 3 himself. Okay I will admit the kid has talent, however I still dislike the fact how he traded on us for #CNB. 2 years running we have proven #A1 is the best, but most talented players still want to attend #CNB? 34 points C.Miller finished with, another double-double. . It didn't mean a damn thing after West sinked both bonus freethrows leaving another gate open for a "critical 3" 95-89 #A1
#CNB switching tbe rotation up, moving Miller to SG, Wells to PG, and Manny to SF. Smart execution by Coach Rollins (#A1) knowing Miller is the go-to-guy for C~Nation. Miller was wide open in the corner, a pure catch and shoot player. Worked around from Wells, to Reeves to Miller then doubled team by our PF, and C forcing a turnover! ! Great basketball we seen last night, I cannot wait too see these two square off later in the schedule. We know there's going to be alot of emotions taking this one!
